Why move off AE plus automation pipelines?

Three reasons. AE plus Bodymovin plus scripts plus render farm becomes a maintenance nightmare past a few thousand variations. Each brand update breaks the pipeline. And the file-based output still needs distribution wired up separately. Ditto fixes all three: cloud-native, programmatic, with delivery included.

Will the output look as polished as After Effects?

For personalized at-scale campaigns, yes. The visual language is modern motion graphics built in HTML and CSS. For a one-of-one cinematic hero spot, AE will still beat us. Different problem, different tool.

Can my AE templates be migrated to Ditto?

Yes. Provide the original brand system and AE project, and Ditto rebuilds the template in HTML and CSS as part of the campaign engagement. Most migrations are 1 to 2 weeks.

What about Lottie, Bodymovin, JSON animations?

Lottie is a great export format from AE, and Ditto can incorporate Lottie animations into a campaign template. Where AE plus Lottie struggles is data-driven personalization at scale, which is what Ditto is built for.

Should we keep AE for some work and use Ditto for others?
